**Terms and Conditions for Private Surf Coaching**
Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching does not assume responsibility for those inherent risks which may cause unfortunate accidents, incidents, or delays with our guest’s travel arrangements. Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching will not be held responsible for injury, death, damage, loss, delay, cost, expense, or inconvenience arising from travel misfortunes beyond our control.

By submitting payment, you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions:

**Booking Policy**
A booking for private surf coaching is confirmed once a non-refundable deposit is paid. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions:
1. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
2. Each client must sign a participation and liability waiver form prior to the coaching session. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the amount paid.
3. Payment of a deposit or full payment for coaching services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
**Costs and Travel Rates**
1. The cost of private surf coaching is **800 Euros per day** for up to 2 surfers.
2. Travel days are calculated at a fee of **400 Euros**, covering Europe-based trips only. For outside of Europe trips, travel days are calculated at 50% the cost of the daily private coaching fee.
3. Clients are responsible for Andrew Goodman’s flight and travel expenses, including accommodation and food expenses during the trip, as well as all other expenses directly related to the surf trip.
- Travel expenses include: airport parking, transfers, car rental, gas, flights, and any other expense directly related to the private coaching trip.
- Food expenses are calculated at a daily quota of **100 Euros per day**.
4. In case of flight's delays on Andrew Goodman's part,

**Payment Policy**
1. Final payment is due **90 days prior to the scheduled coaching trip** and is non-refundable for any reason.
2. Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal.
3. Bank fees incurred by transferring money are the sole responsibility of the guest. The guest is therefore responsible to pay for all bank's fees, including the recipient's fees. If this is not possible due to the nature of certain specific banks like Revolut or Wise, a second invoice will be issued to the customer for bank's fees.
4. Clients are responsible for any PayPal service fees (4% of the payment amount) or bank transfer fees.
5. Failure to pay the full amount within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture of the funds and cancellation of the booking.
6. Any extra services not included in the coaching package must be paid for in cash or by credit card (where facilities allow) in the local currency.
**Refund Policy / Cancellation Policy**
1. All payments are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for cancellations, early departures, or unutilized services.
2. Exceptions to the cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including injury, illness, or travel disruptions.
3. In the event the participant fails to fulfill a payment plan prior to the coaching session, Andrew Goodman reserves the right to deny participation, with no refund issued.
4. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather, poor surf conditions, political instability, or other external factors beyond the control of Andrew Goodman.
5. In case of trip rescheduling or cancellation by Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching, you will be refunded for payments made. However, Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching is not responsible for additional expenses incurred, such as flight costs or travel preparations.
​6. If Andrew Goodman’s flights are delayed and he arrives 24 hours or more later than scheduled, the client will be refunded for the unused day of coaching. If the delay is only a few hours and does not impact the coaching sessions, no refunds will be given.
**Travel Insurance**
1. **Travel insurance is strongly recommended** for all participants. It should cover trip delays, cancellations, missed connections, and unforeseen natural disasters.
2. **Sport insurance that explicitly covers surfing as a sport is mandatory** for participation.
3. The client must provide proof of travel and sport insurance prior to the coaching session.
**Additional Costs and Equipment**
1. Surf equipment rental is not included in the coaching cost and must be covered by the client.
2. Any additional travel-related costs such as excess luggage fees, airport taxes, and other surcharges are the responsibility of the client.
**Transportation**
1. The client is responsible for transportation to and from the designated coaching location.
2. Andrew Goodman is not liable for travel delays or missed connections affecting the client’s arrival at the coaching venue.
**Health and Safety**
1. Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching is not responsible for health problems arising during or after the coaching sessions due to environmental factors, surfing activities, or other circumstances.
2. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are physically fit for surfing.
3. **Surfing is an extreme sport.** To participate, students must be able to swim and be in good physical health. Students should be aware of inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries, drowning, death, and marine hazards such as sharks or submerged objects. Fortunately, these risks are **extremely rare and very well mitigated.**
**Rescheduling and Minimum Bookings**
1. Travel dates for Europe-based coaching include **one day before and one day after the coaching trip**.
2. Andrew Goodman reserves the right to reschedule coaching dates if minimum participation or specific requirements are not met.
3. If a session is rescheduled or canceled by Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching due to unforeseen or unpredicted circumstances, a full refund will be provided to the guest. Refunds will only be issued for payments made to the coaching company, excluding third-party costs like airfare or travel insurance.
**Liability**
1. Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching assumes no responsibility for injuries, illnesses, accidents, delays, or losses incurred during the coaching sessions.
2. Participation in activities is at the client’s own risk, even in cases where Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching or its staff may have been negligent.
3. Any client engaging in illegal activities or excessive alcohol consumption will have their session terminated immediately without a refund.
**Use of Media and Data Protection**
1. Clients agree to be photographed or filmed during their sessions. Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching may use these recordings for promotional purposes without prior consent.
2. All personal data will be treated confidentially and only used for booking or marketing purposes. Data will not be shared with third parties unless necessary for the delivery of services.
**Force Majeure**
Andrew Goodman Surf Coaching will not be liable for cancellations or delays due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, wars, or government actions. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
