We’ve been energized by the number of people who have reached out asking about how the Digital Surf Academy works. They want to know how you can learn to surf online. We know it might sound unusual at first, but when you think about it, it’s not often that you would throw yourself into something new without doing a little research first. You want to know how it works, what you’re getting into and how to stay safe. When you’re talking about sports, you’re probably competitive like us, so you also want to learn how to be the best!
It all starts with the fundamentals.
One of the best examples I can give is to have you think back to when you learned to drive. Your parents didn’t just let you jump behind the wheel when you turned 16. I know mine didn't! They worried about our safety and those around us. The same is true with surfing. You definitely shouldn't jump on a surfboard without learning how it works first, which is why we created the Digital Surf Academy.
When you take the time to learn the basics before you get out into the water, you are going to be so much more prepared to enjoy your time in the water. You will catch more waves! You won’t feel frustrated. You won’t feel intimidated. You will just have fun because your learning curve is going to be nearly vertical.
